Catherine Asquith Gallery is delighted to announce the gallery’s annual “Works on Paper” exhibition. Comprising the director’s personal selection of superior quality limited edition prints and works on paper, the exhibition will officially open on Thursday 4th February @ 6.00pm, and a number of the artists represented in the exhibition will be in attendance on the evening.
Strictly limited editions of works by well-regarded Australian artists, such as Charles Blackman, Fred Cress, Garry Shead and Jason Benjamin, will be on display, with additional prints available by Kerrie Lester and David Larwill.
Of special interest to collectors of prints will no doubt be our new ‘editions’: Jasper Knight, recent winner of the prestigious Mosman Art Prize with his painting ‘Wharf with Yellow Palings’ and a finalist in three recent Archibalds and two Wynne Prizes Jasper Knight’s latest work “Resolve and General VIII” & “Mesina and Merit”, a diptych, is a must see.
A selection of the gallery’s represented artists will also be included and represented by superb examples of a number of genres.
